Along with staff training, Remmers Dental team members accompany the dentists to various educational seminars. They perpetually hone their skills to properly assist our dentists and deliver outstanding patient care.
April joined the Remmers Dental family in 2019, but her dental career began in 1997. She began her dental journey as a basic dental assistant and then went on to obtain her certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant. She has obtained certifications in Coronal Polishing, OSHS, and CPR. Throughout her career, April has worn many hats from teaching at the Academy of Dental Assisting to being a national trainer with Patterson Dental. For the past 5 years, she has been in dental practice management and is now our office manager here at Remmers Dental.
April loves being part of an awesome team that puts patient needs first. She works hard at making our patients feel at home, whether it is in direct patient care or arranging financial options for the dental wants and needs of our patients.
Outside of work, April spends her free time riding motorcycles with her husband. They like to travel as often as they can. April loves being with family and friends.
Theresa has been with Remmers Dental since January 2000. Theresa attended KY Tech for business and has over 25 years of dental experience in financing, insurance, and accounting. In her spare time, Theresa enjoys spending time anywhere there is water including the lake, pool or beach. Theresa likes to listen to country music and enjoys going to concerts. She also likes taking her dog to the park for long walks. Theresa has traveled out west and loves planning new adventures.
Brenda’s career in dentistry spans an impressive 45 years, the last five of which were spent right here at our Louisville practice. She greatly enjoys being able to help patients understand the treatments they need and how they can afford the services with their current budget. She attended Jefferson State Technical School and the University of Kentucky, completing her EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant) training at the latter.
Brenda has one grown son and two grandchildren. Whenever she has free time outside of work, she likes playing around with her grandkids and going to the lake.
Angela has been working in dentistry for over 20 years now, with nearly half of them spent as a proud member of our team. She earned her education from the University of Louisville and is certified in laser debridement, anesthesia, and nitrous oxide. She loves interacting with patients every day!
Angela is a Louisville native and stays active with her two children. Her hobbies include cycling, indoor rock climbing, hiking, and simply being outdoors. As a family, they also raise honeybees together and regularly share their honey with friends and loved ones.
Sandy has been working in the dental field for over 35 years now, and she first joined our Louisville team around 17 years ago. The best thing about her job is being able to build such wonderful relationships with patients over the years. She treasures their loyalty and commitment very much! She attended the University of Louisville for her education and completed her hygiene degree in 1997. She also completed the Expanded Duties Dental Assistant program in 1984, her certifications for block infiltration, nitrous oxide, and anesthesia in 2003, and her certification for laser debridement in 2013.
Sandy is originally from Metropolis, IL, and she and her husband Steve have one daughter named Hannah. Whenever she has free time, she enjoys golfing with Hannah, watching all of her sporting events, and traveling together as a family. Amy earned her dental education from the University of Louisville and is certified in anesthesia and dental lasers. She has been a member of the Remmers Dental family for over 30 years now and has formed countless fulfilling relationships with patients throughout that span.
Originally from Louisville, Amy and her spouse Tony have two grown children named Leah and Eric. Her hobbies outside of work include gardening, bee keeping, and spending time with family.
Brandi first joined Remmers Dental around five years ago, and she has a decade of experience in the oral healthcare field overall. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Louisville, achieving certifications in anesthesia and laser debridement. She greatly enjoys having the ability to help people feel more confident about their smiles.
Originally from Bardstown, Brandi has one sister and three step-siblings. Her hobbies include going to the lake, spending time at the gym, traveling, and golfing.
Amber first joined the oral healthcare field in 2014, and her favorite part of the job is getting to converse with patients. She attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and is certified in CPR, anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and laser debridement.
Originally from Taylorsville, Amber enjoys going on walks with her dog, hanging out at sporting events, and doing home decorating projects in her spare time. If she wasn’t already in dentistry, she’d want to work at a veterinarian’s office!
Susie graduated from the University of Louisville in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Dental Hygiene. She has been a valued member of the Remmers Dental Team for 34 years! Susie enjoys spending most of her time with her husband and 3 children. Her favorite activities include going to the lake, walking her dog or riding her horse, Chief.
Sherry’s career in the dental world got started in 1985, and she became a member of the Remmers Dental family in 2004. Her EDDA certification was completed in 1987, and she has also attended dental boot camp and received training in straight wire orthodontics. She loves the people she works with and being able to help patients smile brighter.
Outside of work, Sherry spends her free time hanging out at the lake, reading, and being with family and friends. Books are her life – the real things, not digital versions!
Hollie’s career in the dental field spans a decade and counting. She studied at the Academy of Dental Assisting and loves being able to make people smile and feel comfortable here in the practice!
At home, Hollie is the proud parent of a beautiful daughter named Ellie. Whenever she isn’t busy at work, she spends her free time with loved ones, cooking out, and being outside.
Natalie studied at both ATA College and the University of Louisville, receiving advanced training in coronal polishing, OSHA, HIPPA, Invisalign, X-rays, and CPR. She first got her start in the field in 2010 and joined Remmers Dental in 2014. She loves meeting so many wonderful patients throughout her workday and building relationships with them that last!
Whenever she isn’t busy at the practice, you can find Natalie hiking with her dogs, painting, or redoing furniture. She is a passionate vegetarian and a big animal lover.
Kimberly graduated from Medquest College in 2017, as a certified Expanded Duties Dental Assistant and has been in dentistry since her graduation. She joined the Remmers Team in August of 2019 and has been a great asset.
She loves patient care and being able to help boost the confidence of the one’s she cares for.
In her free time, she likes spending time outdoors, enjoys both fishing and hunting. She is the youngest of two brother, and three sisters.
