Dr. Emily’s career in the dental field spans well over a decade now, and there’s nothing she enjoys more about her position than being able to build such strong, personal relationships with patients and their families over time. Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?

Dr. Emily became interested in dentistry at a very young age. She has always enjoyed the mix of science and art that this field offers. In addition to her position at Remmers Dental, she regularly spends time volunteering at dental clinics through the Louisville Dental Society and her church, Sojourn Community Church.

Where Did You Study
Dentistry?

After graduating from Asbury University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Emily pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Since then, she has maintained an active membership with notable organizations, like The American Dental Association and the Kentucky State Dental Association, and has taken the following courses:

  • DOCS Adult Oral Sedation Dentistry
  • Invisalign Fundamental and Intermediate Courses
  • Midwest Implant Institute Comprehensive Implant Surgery Course
  • Multiple Advanced Implant Restoration Courses
  • Dentsply Sirona STEPPS Dental Implant Restorative Residency

Outside of the Dental
Office, What Do You Like
to Do?

At home, Dr. Emily and her husband, Lee, have a little Dachshund Beagle Mix named Petunia. Some of her favorite things to do outside the office are travel, spend time with friends and family, host game nights, and go to Nolin Lake. She also is a huge fan of Disney World and loves going any chance she can!
